W ramach IX Festiwalu Nauk Humanistycznych 7 grudnia 2023 roku gościliśmy w naszej szkole wybitną mediewistkę z Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach – prof. dr hab. Bożenę Czwojdrak – z wykładem „Królowe w późnośredniowiecznej Polsce”. W spotkaniu z Mistrzem uczestniczyli uczniowie z klas realizujących historię na poziomie rozszerzonym.Tematyka wykładu spotkała się z ogromnym zainteresowaniem, a wiedza Pani Profesor z niezwykłym uznaniem naszej szkolnej społeczności.
W ramach festiwalu odbyły się ponadto lekcje asystenckie:

9th FESTIVAL OF HUMANITIES
As part of the 9th Festival of Humanities, on December 7, 2023, we hosted at our school a prominent medievalist from the University of Silesia in Katowice, Professor BożenaCzwojdrak with a lecture on „Queens in late medieval Poland”. The meeting with the Master was attended by students from classes implementing history at the extended level. The topic of the lecture was met with great interest, andProfessor’s knowledge was extremely appreciated by our school community.
In addition, as part of the festival, assistant classeswere held on the following topics:
– Wincenty Witos (upcoming year 2024 was recognized by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland as the Year of Wincenty Witos – in connection with the 150th anniversary of the birth of the three-time Prime Minister of the Second Polish Republic). Classes on this topic were conducted on December 4, 2023 by 3d class student Kacper Paśko.
– about Silesian Uprisings ( year 2023 was recognized by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland as the year of Wojciech Korfanty – in connection with the 150th anniversary of the birth of the dictator of the Third Silesian Uprising). Classes on this topic were led by: on December 6, 2023, students from class 3d – IgaGrzegorek, Sara Huk and Mikołaj Zalewski, and on December 7, 2023, class 3c student Kacper Targosz-Opolka.
– the January Uprising (upcoming year 2024 has been recognized by the Polish Parliament as the Year of Romuald Traugutt – in connection with the 160th anniversary of the death of the dictator of the January Uprising). Classes on this topic were conducted on December 7, 2023 by class 3c student Wojciech Dubiel.
